Check the box by the character to which the trait applies. Only check the box if it is that character’s ruling trait. If you are unsure or if it does not apply 100% leave it blank.
*a good group of characters comes in odd numbers and no more than 7
(This should be in a able, but I can't remember the markup for it, so I'm just listing the traits you should be marking against)/

Strong (Physically)
Mature/Wise

Prolific (go-getter)

Ranking
-15 to -11: too weak
-10 to -6: weak character
-5 to -1: well balanced
0: perfectly balanced
1 to 5: well balanced
6 to 10: strong character
11 to 15: too strong
It is okay to have a ‘Too Weak’ character because it gives them room to develop and grow, but try to avoid ‘Too Strong’ characters, because they become flat, static and boring.
In a well-balanced cast of characters it is important to have a range of character types. The main character should be almost perfectly balanced. The most important secondary characters should be well-balanced, and supporting cast can be in the extremes. Avoid the extremes for main characters.
(For the record, I disagree that the MC should be almost perfectly balanced, that would just be boring)
